Before you were playing they were extremely crucial. Aerial advantages.

Connecting on long PA/WR Streaks with top shelf speed WRs inserted in at the WR #1 and #2 spots. Also, during the era where the TE spot was heavily featured it was important to capitalize.

They're important in different ways now. It has taken a different path to where having the right plays inserted is necessary and the select few connect regardless of over-rides. Just based on having the play in the fold + properly skilled players will see it be a success.

I would still like a more detailed depth chart. Like with a 3rd down back, split end, flanker, slot, h-back , nickel cb, dime cb and left and right cbs. Along wit the ability to man up any defender with a chosen offensive guy

A depth chart for over ides would work too, but I stopped overiding cause of the time it takes. That whole system should be more user friendly.

I stopped doing a lot of the game...except roster building and excluding broken plays from the book. That's what gets wins imo. Everything else will win the big game .....but those two will keep you competitive .

That's not true. I'm active in every capacity and it's a virtual impossibility to adjust over-rides on a game by game basis.

1 team, yes, possibly. Anything more, no because it entails pulling up the Offensive Play Matrix and the Depth Chart Over-Rides screen side by side while calmly drop down windowing through the sets and formations...turning players red. Also, since you've already over-ridden for the season you now have red everywhere and get lost in the maze of over-riding. If you're really determined to be most highly effective and not make mistakes it's a 30 minute process to filter through the offensive over-rides in this scenario.

Personally, I think the injuries should curtail.

Yes for sure, at the very least tone it down for the linemen on both sides.
