Hi, Free Agency is a rough time for me as I can't seem to win the very good players. Is there a trick in winning FA signings? Please advise. Thanks!!!

the gist is 74.9% bonus in relation to the first year salary offered.
1 yr @ 1 million = 740ish thousand bonus.
,
74.9% bonus at 6 years of length is the "secret."
"Scoffs."

Resign players with 1-2 years remaining.
Do not go beyond 8 years for wr, rb, fb, db.
9 years is really risky for LB, TE.
11 max for the O and D lines, though getting away with 12 is i'd call a 50/50.
anything after 13 is risky for a QB /P/K.
Here's some other links I hope are of use.

That's not what I was referring to. There is a way to manipulate the contract screen to go over the default maximum
