what is better? for have better players, play whit the player whit best current rating or the player whit best future rating ?
Thank you all for the insight.. this question right here^^ is precisely why i'm asking. in 1 league i have a QB 83/83 but is aging (8yrs+) but i have a stud prospect at 45/90 (not outstanding but clearly better). so if i play him would he in fact get better as the season goes on.. or am i better off playing the older one till the rook is actually capable of playing?
Thanks
Dash
I can tell you what I've done. In 2 leagues I'm in, I drafted very good QB's (88+). I started the season with both on the bench. About 5-6 games in, both teams weren't doing so well, so I had both finish the season. With both teams, the young QB played like a veteran 1 week and a rookie the next. One week, would be 350yds+ passing. The next would be 33% pass completion and a 100yd game.
To me, the player's current numbers are the current numbers, but you will see flashes of greatness.
I will add that playing the rookies during their rookie season really helped out for next season. Both have added +15 to current ratings, which would have happened much slower if I didn't play them.
