No, your trade has nothing to do with Metro's cap issues. All his issues relate to his own mismanagement of free agency. The extra $5M cap hit is nothing for the QB you sent him compared to the multiple 8 figure contracts he was handing out.

The team was not totally screwed by the AI. It was the free agent additions that pushed him over.
OK, I'm making the call. One time cap relief amnesty for Brawndo Corp. From now on, Metro you are responsible for everything you do. Please note you have to get a full roster by the first preseason game. You should now have ample cap room to do whatever you please and the team won't be saddled with cap debt forever.
