Not a great showing by the newest recruits to the London Monarchs Royal Army.
1-30 LDE Malcolm Showell (80 vol +1/-7 now 44/71) - still fast and strong, but no real improvement to his pass rush or run defense. Decent tackling may still make him a respectable backup, but not the fall back option from XTreme rookie DT Walter Grant I was hoping for.
2-30 WR Alan Allen (82 vol +2/-5 now 44/66) - Alan "Butterfingers" Allen had no floor for his receiving skills to begin with, and had no improvement at all - zero. At least his run blocking improved! Never cut a second round pick before - first time for everything!
3-30 FS Billy Rubin (100 vol +1/-6 now 39/64) - another absolute flop. Converted him from a SLB, but no pop at all for his low tackling or coverage skills - another cut before ever hitting the field.
3-31 MLB William Kirksey (38 vol +8/+1 now 44/71) - guess I should be excited about a +1 bump. He can tackle and maybe force some fumbles, but with only zone coverage I don't think he'll ever be a starter.
5-25 RDE Carnel Smith (4 vol +5/+0 now 40/70) - converted him from a MLB, hoping he can still contribute now that he has 100 pass rush even though he'll be slowing down as he gains weight.
Definitely not the influx of young talent I was hoping for in 2045.
