THE SUGGS BROTHERS
The Templars have a brother duo on the d line this season. Joe Suggs playing at LDE and now his little brother Ricky Suggs at RDE. We are hoping they can combine to put some pressure on opposing quarterbacks and get a few sacks in the process.
Ricky was drafted in Round 7, 29th pick, next to last. by Pittsburgh. When Salt Lake's front office saw he was available, they jumped at the chance to pick him up. "We like Joe's style of play and how hard he works, so we expect Ricky to have the same standards here" said owner Sid Allison.
Both of the boys played at the University of Washington in Seattle. "We aren't Huskies fans here in Salt Lake but we like these men and were hoping they like it here and are productive".
The team plays the Ducks tonight and the boys promised to get after them.
We will soon find out.
