I made an executive decision just now. Duckies reported something weird with their cap situation after signing a few extension. He cannot explain it and I looked at the transaction log, and there doesn't seem to be anything that would have caused it:
Seeing as we are coming up on the game sim and the CPU would treat him as over the cap and release all his players, I cleared his dead cap so he can be under the cap.
I have the same problem after doing my normal resigning of players with expiring contracts. There has to be a glitch, because my new dead cap total is the exact same as the Rubber Duckies.
I've read about this happening in other leagues, so it might be a widespread problem.
Also read about owners getting kicked from their teams at the end of season sim even when they're already registered for the following year. I'd be ready for that to happen for at least a few teams when we flip to 2061.

In an abundance of caution I will clear the dead cap for KC as well.
Thanks, Norm. I'll let you get back to prepping for the big game. Good luck.

There's an issue with salaries needed for draft picks (we think) not being involved in the calculation.

This is ridiculous. I tried to resign additional players, and the same error occurred. Not only am I over the cap again, but I cannot resign my players and I am at risk of losing them. This game is unplayable if you cannot resign players without needing the admin to wipe out dead cap every time. If I end up losing my top CB because of this error, I'm likely out of here.
