Why not stay at 12 and save your future 1st? Very odd combination of trades, it's not like you even have anyway to know if the guy you'd really want even gets to 8...

There's no scrutiny imo, a 70 speed DB isn't worth the 8th or 12th pick. Let alone a future first, it was a poor move. Granted the top of this draft class is pretty weak.
