Good game Memphis. To answer the questions some had earlier about Robert Asbury being hyped up to play Los Angeles, presented without comment, his stat line from the last game:
Los Angeles Xtreme came into Memphis and kept the Dogs out of the end zone and wore down the Hound Dog defense with scoring drives with 18 plays and 12 plays. The loss was Memphis first of the season. Las Vegas is the Dogs next opponent.
LB Robert Asbury played back up because of how young his fellow LB's are.
The Hound Dogs were in Charlotte looking for some buzzards to retrieve to the owner. They were good dogs, getting a come from behind, OT victory 16-13.
Robert Asbury was top dog. With Orcutt and the offense struggling he took it upon himself to take a Farr pass to the house for Memphis' only TD.
Late in the 4th Quarter with the game tied and the Dogs in FG range, someone dropped the ball and didn't call time out. Sending the game into OT. The Dogs ended up with the ball and the win but had that not been the case, some heads in the coaching staff may have been on the chopping block.
Next game is against Arroyo and the Tampa Bay Bucs.
