If I sign an upcoming possible Free Agent to a one year contract during the season, does he STILL become a FA at the end of the current season, or is the contract honored for the next season?

There are currently no contract extensions without changing the current contract.

If you sign a one year contract today, it will be for the 2025 season, and he will still become a free agent at season's end.
