However, I am calling dibs on naming my first round pick.

When someone says that they have dibs on something, they claim or declare rights to that thing before anyone else. Like the rights to the last buffalo wing on Superbowl Sunday, or calling "shotgun" to sit in the passenger seat of a car. Calling "Dibs" is a legal and binding contract. Ask ANY Lawyer

As a rule of thumb, “dibs” will always go to the person who “calls them” first.

So my first round pick's name, which I again I reiterate that I am calling "Dibs" on, will be

Respectfully, I am not trying to offend anyone who might be worried or scared about these uncertain times. Just trying to lighten the moment while bringing a little bit of entertaining humor to the rest of the league.

Covid Nineteen

Dibs denied. Just like real life, it's possible for people to have the same name. Ask Josh Allen QB of the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen, DE, for Jacksonville Jaguars. So if two (or more) teams want to have Corona Virus, they can. But please make sure they stand at least 6 feet apart.

And it would only be fitting that Corona Virus would infect other draft picks and replicate as itself.
