I call bullshit on this trade - I cant understand why give up a decent draft pick and 2 more picks for a player on the verge of retirement ?

Is this just a dummy trade to send additional picks for a previous trade

Understandable. I wasn't trying for real balance, I was trying to unload players for picks before anyone else got involved. A couple of hidden gems wound up in there, he'll get his $ worth from Connor (at CB) & Pagano (at WR) despite low AI ratings.

For the record, I discussed this with Billy earlier too, because he had earlier stated that he might scale back the game/quit in light of his family situation. I told him that he shouldn't tank his team's draft picks for years to come then leave because the next owner would be super pissed off. But he says he will play on, so as long he is bearing the consequences for his dumb trades, I'm ok with it. He simply wanted the "glory"(?) of having no draft picks I guess?

Should we have a rule where you have to at least spread out those draft picks to different teams if you're gonna do a Billy (dumping picks)? In this case, it's not collusion but it almost looks like collusion from an outsiders perspective for 10 picks to be traded to the same team for less than stellar players

I'm generally not in favor of lots of rules. Let's let people do what they want. I don't think many folks will want to pull the "billy" anytime soon, other than Billy himself. There are legitimate reasons for trading away all your picks. And if the deal is between two consenting parties, go ahead I guess. And even though we prodded Billy a bit about it, those extra 6th and 7th rounders aren't going to break the game balance.
