Former Thrasher teammate Allen Lawrence now of the London Monarchs has publicly expressed his displeasure with the team, but during warmups at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Lawrence was being overtly friendly with the Thrasher personnel. In particular, he was seen intently speaking with DE Michael Cherrito at great lengths, who would later go on to sack QB Michael Avila 6 times.
After the game, Cherrito and Lawrence were spotted in the VIP at a popular gentlemen's club, Ye Olde Axe. Could Lawrence have been potentially throwing the game to Arkansas since the London offense couldn't get any traction in the second half? Neither franchise has offered any public statement, but an Arkansas insider, remaining nameless, said that an internal investigation has begun.
