Dang, do you still play csfbl? What are your thoughts?
Actually I haven't played it for years. I did like building teams and finding the diamonds in the rough. I stopped because I felt like I was wasting too much time scouting other teams to figure out who to trade for....just like I ended up doing at MFN lol.
Don't know if they have private leagues or not, but there were pretty dedicated owners like there are here, so you can figure out which leagues people take the most seriously. For those worried about slow game play, some of the leagues simmed up to eight games per day, so you could get through an entire baseball season in 3-4 weeks.

One of my favorite football stories is about 68 yo Michael Lynch, who played in a semi-pro championship game for the South Florida Gladiators and caught a TD pass in it, (picture below) not just on the team & field to set a record for oldest player. We had a guy like him when I played semi-pro, we called him "the Swede", he was in his late 50s at the time. 10 - 15 yrs later, Im watchin ESPN and they put on a story called "Mr Football", and it was the Swede! He was still playin! Played all the OL positions and DL. He weighed about 230 and was around 6'2, real quiet kinda guy, always had a smile on his face.
