Alternatively, pick up a cheap QB in free agency and put in a rule where your rookie comes in for experience late in a game.

Mentzer should be the starter. A volatility exploding QB will play above their currently showing accuracy rating. I've won with 'em before - rookie QB, exploder but it has to be high volatility and a power surge ++++ hit. The problem with this QB is the look off and field of vision = awful...especially one of them. That = fail mode and no shot. The QB will be a horror show while the accuracy remains low (60-80) and that 46 rating doesn't get to 80+ itself. You gotta sit that guy until he's pretty much pinned on red with the field of vision and look off vitals.

Tom Brady is going to retire soon. The Bucs should definitely stop playing him and start Kyle Trask instead. Brady is on his retirement plan. Trask is the future of the Tampa Bay team.

I looked at Billy draft class - not busts are punter and qb. It seems so poetic.

Yet, somehow the rookie punter rides the pine for an 8yr vet who by Billy logic should be getting paid to sit as part of his retirement.
