AI cut Monarchs CB Osvaldo Costales - did not give me a chance to pick another player to cut. If we could go on the honor system and nobody else claim him so I can get him back I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
I think there won't be a waiver for him, as the next sim advances us to the next season, meaning he will be on free agents come early free agency period one.

I wasn't sure about that. I thought I could sign a free agent to a contract in the Super Bowl sim, then still have a chance to cut someone on the end of season sim to remain at 53 players - guess we'll find out tomorrow night!

I lost a player earlier in season under same scenario. Someone else claimed, he was just a special team player for me but I was shocked someone else took him.

Did get him back off waivers - it's like no one wanted to claim a slightly above average defensive back with ratings in the 50s. Seems to play a little better than his ratings, and since I usually miss out on any quality DBs in free agency I couldn't afford to lose a semi competent one. Thanks for passing on him if anybody was actually interested.
