OK based on feedback in this thread, it sounds like folks are happy with the status quo and everyone trying their best to uphold the spirit of fair play. So you can still have 12 WRs on your roster and play them at running back or tight end or whatever. And you can still use FL Hitch if that's the way you want to play. If someone takes things to the extreme and starts upsetting everyone, like the aforementioned 200 pound DE with 30 sacks type stuff, we will revisit more formal rules.

Please always feel free to message me if you have concerns. And I hope anonymous person who messaged me about these issues is satisfied with the discussion here. If not, let me know!

Sorry to all.
I made a test during the first 2 games with the 46 Heavy formation. I had an average (OVR 73) but fast (> 90) CB on position LDE. He made 1 resp 3 sacks. (At least in the first game that did not have any impact.)

Conclusion: Speed is still the only real factor in this version (0.45).
Suggestion: For 46 Heavy there should be no override on position LDE with any player weighing less than 270 lbs.

PS: Override is changed to normal feature: RDE, DT, DT, LDE, SLB, WLB in the front row.

In my post above yours, one of the examples of extremism I used was 200 pound DBs getting 30 sacks, so I think your experiment proves that 200 pound DBs can get 30 sacks. In the interests of not super restricting people and having to monitor this everywhere, let's keep the simple rule as "don't play DBs at DL." We won't get into weight restrictions and stuff yet, unless people think it's needed. For now, play your LB at DE if you want and if it gets bad let me know. But seems like DB at DL would be unfair.

Just to check it: For the next 2 games I will try out an 84 speed WLB at LDE in 46 Heavy. I think there is still a speed glitch just in this a.m. formation.

Looks to be true based on the sack and three hurries.

I think there are multiple posts out there where people have already tested the validity of speed/weight. I recall reading this info while learning more about the game.

You're right. But I thought JDB had also tweaked it a little bit. If my test proves the glitch also in the next game I would strongly recommend to implement a weight rule for the 46 Heavy formation as suggested above.

Uh oh - looks like our week 4 matchup might get a little ugly. Sigh.

I had not previously realized there was something broke with that specific formation.

It looks like LBs with speed less 85 are suitable for LDE override in 46 Heavy.

Suggestion to minimize the glitch: No DB at all or LB faster than 85 allowed at LDE in 46 HEAVY Override.
