Week 1 brought the Falcons as the Dogs first opponent. Curtis Neilson was sacked an inexcusable 11 times. The Dogs D had 5 takeaways and got the win.

The Team traveled to Irvine for Week 2 and the Dogs D shut down the Anteaters offense with the Rookie LB making 2 picks. The team is 2-0 heading into Week 3 so Keep it up men, you are playing some pretty good football early in the 2039 season.

Week 3 brought some disappointment with the Dogs getting beaten badly by the Ducks. A 31-3 loss that hopefully we can bounce back from. That's the nature of this sport and this competitive Moguls Football League. Next up Chicago Bears.

I can't wait for the Flea Taxis to visit the Asbestos Tub in a few hours! A rivalry rekindled! In the long tradition of Robert Asbury and Eddie Cruise... who's up next for the Duckies and Dogs?

The game didn't live up to the hype......as for who the Dogs are gonna rally around, i'm really liking #44 Reed Fanelli. He is quick and mean and he hopefully has a knack for putting his head into the football and causing fumbles. No one can compare to Robert Asbury. He is the man.

WE'RE IN !!!!!!!!

The 2039 Memphis Hound Dogs, after a "middle of the night" change in ownership, problems in the Offensive line, a banged up star RB Bradshaw, took advantage of a weak NFC South Division taking the title for their 1st since 2025 and now have the opportunity to host the S.F. Demons in the Playoffs.

"It has been a strange season, with all the problems and all to actually be in the tournament at all." said owner Sid Allison. "We are happy to still be playing and we're going to go out and leave it all on the field."

The opponent......A league giant the San Francisco Demons isn't really who anyone would want to see in a first round game but it is what it is and all these Hounds can do is give it a go.
Being the underdog is a good spot to be in. The pressure, if any, will be on them. Its up to the Dogs to apply the pressure and who knows, a couple lucky bounces, a turnover or two and maybe some help from the King, the Dogs could be able to make it interesting.

The Demons handled 12 of their 13 wins easily. Most of them blowouts. The Ducks and Demons played a game that was only a TD difference in score but the Demons dominated. 2 of their 3 losses were to rival L.A. and their other was to the defending champions Detroit. They are tops in offense both running and passing. So it is going to be a challenge.

The one thing looking good for Memphis is it looks like RB/WR, total yards league leader by a long shot Larry Bruner may not see any play. But it is unknown whether he will play or not.

Game is tomorrow night.
