"The White River War"

The Hound Dogs and the Thrashers are in opposing Conferences yet their geographical closeness has made for a rivalry that I call the White River War.

It wasn't much of a war, more of a beat down as the Thrashers handled the Dogs easily 30-10 last night to send the Dogs to 0-1.

The Dogs play division foe Rapid Valley next in a game that they would like to have a better showing in.

After a couple big wins against divisional opponents the Dogs went into the last game of a three game home stand feeling pretty confident. The Dogs obviously underestimated the Devils and got beaten badly.

Things started out okay with Rookie Klaus getting a safety early but that was the extent of the good things that happened for them as the Devils used the long ball to score a couple of TD's.

The Devils did what it took to win. We tip our caps to them. Next time we see them, we will be more prepared. We didn't over look the team, we don't over look anyone. These players are pros and on any given night any team can beat anyone.

The Dogs drop to 2-3 on the season.
