Rumors around Charlotte suggest FBRD's head coach, Samuel Harris, is strongly considering a change at QB to start the season.

What started as an attempt to rest Neil Kleinschmidt before the veteran begins his 12th campaign, has turned into a three headed monster of a QB battle.

Thomas Fagundes was chosen as Kleinschmidt's eventual replacement in the 2029 draft, and it seems that after a long break in period, he's finally reached his potential. In the preseason, Tommy (Fa) Gun (des) went 44 of 60 passing for 638 yards, over 10 yards per attempt. He was able to get the ball to the end zone five times, while throwing no interceptions, (Kleinschmidt 2 TD's/2Int's). The negative on Tommy is that he has only attempted one regular season pass in his career, which went for an INT (2030 season).

The third head on the QB hydra is Kenneth McKeon, the surprise 8th year find of GM BillStein last season. McKeon made headlines in scrub duty week 16 of last season, when the team rested Kleinschmidt for the playoffs, going 18 for 20, 417 yds (not a typo), and 5 (yes 5) TD's. McKeon followed with a respectable preseason, posting a 100.20 QB rating, and throwing 4 TD's to one INT.

The consensus leans towards Fagundes, with the stellar preseason, but will the coach instead decide to lean on experience (Kleinschmidt) or possibly risk a Kurt Warner type "gamer" (McKeon)?
