Since I have WAY too much time on my hands while watching my Warroom during a draft, and since my first round pick is from that "OTHER" college, I decided to do some research.
Since the creation of this league for the 2017 season until the current 2022 season, there have been 241 players out of 3665 player profiles created who are Alumni of that "OTHER" College.
Of the 241 created profiles, 130 are currently in the league (53.9%) and 111 are free agents after the draft is over. (46.0%)
Of the 130 who are currently playing, 70 (53.8%) are Offensive Players, 53 (40.7%) are Defensive Players, and 7 (5.3%) are Special Team Players.
Of the 130 players from that OTHER College currently playing, 14 (10.7%) are Rookies.
Of the 70 Offensive Players who are currently playing in the league, 8 (11.4%) are QB’s, 9 (12.8%) are Backfield, 6 (8.5%) are TE’s, 13 (18.5%) are WR’s, and 34 (48.5%) are OL. Of those players, 31 (44.2%) are starters. Of the Offensive Starters, 9 (29.0%) are on the decline. Overall, 24 (34.2%) of the 70 Offensive Players are on the decline.
Of the 9 Offensive Backfield Players, 6 (66.7%) are RB’s and 3 (33.7%) are FB’s
Of the 34 Offensive OL Players, 9 (26.4%) are LT’s, 4 (11.7%) are LG’s, 5 (14.7%) are C’s, 8 (23.5%) are LG’s, and 8 (23.5%) are RT’s
Offensive Linemen make up 26.1% of the created player profiles from that OTHER College while WR’s are the most sought after specific position at 10.0%
Of the 53 Defensive Players who are currently playing in the league, 22 (41.5%) are DL, 10 (18.8%) are LB’s, and 21 (39.6%) are Secondary. Of those players, 25 (47.1%) are starters. Of the Defensive Starters, 7 (28%) are on the decline. Overall, 17 (32.0%) of the 53 Defensive Players are on the decline.
Of the 22 Defensive Line Players who are currently playing in the league, 13 (59.0%) are DE’s and 9 (40.9%) are DT’s
Of the 13 DE’s, 4 (30.7%) are LDE’s and 9 (69.2%) are RDE’s.
Of the 10 LB’s who are currently playing or have played in the League, 2 (20%) are SLB’s, 4 (40%) are MLB’s, and 4 (40%) are WLB’s.
Of the 21 Secondary players who are currently playing or have played in the league, 8 (38.0%) are CB’s, 5 (23.8%) are FS’s, and 8 (38.0%) are SS’s.
Of the 7 Special Team Players who are currently or have played in the league, 3 (42.8%) are K’s while 4 (57.1%) are Punters. Of those players, 5 (71.4%) are starters. Of the Special Team Starters, 1 (20%) is on the decline. Overall, 1 (14.2%) Special Team Player are on the decline.
Overall, of the 130 players from that "OTHER" college that are currently playing in the league, 61 or 46.9% are starters for their team. Likewise, of the 130 player profiles created for players of that "OTHER" college, 32.3% of the players are on the decline.
Not bad for a school of hard knocks.
