The Memphis Hound Dogs and the Arkansas Thrashers have the White River Game that has been mostly one sided.

Going Back to when the team moved South from Boston to Arkansas the results have been

2022 Pre Season Week 4. The Hound Dogs win in OT 22-16.
2022 Regular Season Week 10 Hound Dogs 27 Thrashers 13.

Then things change.

2024 Pre Season Week 3 home Thrashing of 3-28.
2026 Regular season Arkansas win in Memphis 13-23.
2030 Pre season game lost at home by the Hound Dogs 29-34.

Then a 2030 Week 1 Thrashing 30-10 in Arkansas.

So that takes the rivalry to a dismal 2-4 for the Dogs." We really want to get back on track and get a big win pre season or not." Team owner Sid told the team at practice last week. "We don't like being bullied by birds or whatever a Thrasher is" he added.

Let's see if the Hound Dogs respond.

The Battle for the White River has gotten more lopsided with the last game going to the Thrashers 23-9 in the Elvis Dome. That was in the 2033 preseason. This next battle this week is a regular season game and things aren't looking good for the Dogs. The offense has yet to really move the ball at all, and the Thrashers offense looking unstoppable as they Thrashed the Raiders in their season opener.

We have the all time series at 2-5 for Arkansas. It probably will take a miracle for the Dogs to even keep it close but we will give it a go and see what happens. The Thrashers are 14 point favorites.

"There is a football game to be played, and I expect my guys to come prepared, play hard, and then whatever happens, we can live with the results". "If we don't give it our attention and at least our best effort, how can we look ourselves in the mirror after the game?" "At that point, you would have to ask yourself if you are in the right business". commented Hound Dogs owner Sid.
