The Aztecs secured a 27-10 victory over the Thundercocks on November 12, extending their record to 6-5 in the 2062 regular season Week 11. Coyoacan’s Joseph Poore led the away team to a win on the road, while George Batchelor's Thundercocks—now 2-9—fell to their fourth straight loss.

The opening kickoff set the tone with a spectacular 99-yard touchdown return by Aztecs’ Larry Moses, immediately giving the visitors a 7-0 lead after George Cook’s extra point. The Thundercocks responded promptly with a lengthy drive culminating in a Gregory Savage extra point, trimming the deficit to 7-6 early in the first quarter.

Aztecs’ quarterback Andrés Santillana connected with Michael Peters for an 8-yard touchdown pass, pushing the score to 14-6 after another Cook extra point. Santillana finished with three passing touchdowns, completing 30 of 45 attempts for 273 yards. Peters was a notable target, contributing a rushing touchdown and 70 receiving yards.

In the second quarter, Santillana added another touchdown, this time to Alberto Aguilar, who rushed for his only touchdown yardage of 5. Cook's extra point put the Aztecs ahead 21-6. The Thundercocks managed a 24-yard field goal from Savage to make it 21-9 before halftime.

Aztecs running back David Foster bolstered the ground game with 90 rushing yards and an additional 41 receiving yards. Tight end Arturo Beltran also contributed significantly with 93 receiving yards and one rushing touchdown.

Defensively, the Aztecs' Robert Brenneman registered two sacks, helping limit Thundercocks quarterback Jacob Sampson to 166 passing yards and an interception. The Aztecs defense held Thundercocks to just 25 rushing yards on 22 carries and allowed no touchdowns.

George Cook added two more field goals in the second half, connecting from 43 and 31 yards to finalize the scoring at 27-10. Both teams failed to convert on third downs during the game, with neither managing a third-down conversion.

The Thundercocks were hindered by six penalties for 35 yards and a lack of scoring drives inside the red zone. Meanwhile, the Aztecs were flagged six times for 55 yards.

With this win, the Aztecs improve their standing to 6-5 overall and remain second in their division with a 1-2 record there. The Thundercocks drop to fourth in the division at 2-9 and 1-3 in division play.

The Aztecs demonstrated a balanced offensive attack with effective rushing and passing and a defense that contained Thundercocks’ significant efforts. The victory keeps their playoff hopes alive as the regular season nears its conclusion.
