The Monarchs were limited offensively throughout the game. Their quarterback Ken Jones threw for 124 yards but was intercepted once in the third quarter. Rush attempts totaled 13 carries for 41 yards without scoring. The Monarchs failed to convert key opportunities and never trailed within a single score after the second quarter.

Defensively, the Xtreme registered four sacks, including two by defensive end Edward Cramer. The defense forced a critical fumble recovery and maintained pressure that disrupted Monarchs' drives. The Xtreme also avoided third-down conversions, maintaining perfect efficiency at 0 for 0.
