How do you guys feel about your picks so far? Personally I feel I got a guy that if he fills out and doesn't bust is going to be a top 10 player on the offensive line, not too bad for a pick in the late 20s. And my crappy HBs and QBs would sure appreciate some help up front.

I’m picking 32nd so I took on some volatility and hoping for a useful backup or borderline starter.

I think I got pretty good value with my TE at 20th and the LB is decent at 24th but volatility will determine that.

I have no idea why the draft did not run today. Hopefully round 2 continues as scheduled tomorrow.

I noticed this the other day.
When the draft was set back, it moved the off day, normally Sunday, as well.

Two days into the draft and the league is still abuzz with number one overall pick QB John Rowe, possibly the most controversial first round pick in league history. After a historic trade by Charlotte, moving up over 25 draft slots to get their man, the pressure on the young rookie will be huge. Charlotte underwent and entire overhaul in the offseason after losing twice in the playoffs the past two seasons. Not only was a new coaching staff brought in, but the team completely re-branded itself, distancing itself from its Warthog heritage and taking on the new mascot, Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies. The brand new coaching staff has pinned its hopes on a rookie QB. Can he live up to the hype? And how will he handle being under the constant microscope and teams around the league viewed the trade up for Rowe as ludicrous. There has never been such a controversial draft selection. We know one thing, the league will be watching!

As if there wasn’t enough media buzz surrounding the number one overall pick in the draft, John Rowe decided to set Twitter on fire by announcing his legal name change to Chuck Farr. Reactions came in swift. Some said things along the lines of “Lew Alcindor became Kareem what’s the big deal?” In support. While others came back critically with tweets like “three words Metta World Peace. Rowe now is in the basket case club with him and Chad Ochocinco.” While the takes on Farr’s personality continue to pour in one thing remains certain, it’s going to be a crazy year for the media in Charlotte.
