Is it just me, or has this league gotten tougher?

I think the league has gotten smarter as to what works and what doesn't. And it makes sense with so many committed returning owners that teams will gradually get better and close the competitive gap. Or maybe that's just my mental gymnastics as I watch my team spiral towards a top pick!
