Good Game, Dashington... I can't figure out what I did right on offense there, I was expecting another defensive battle like our first game... I'll take it though! On to... The Thrashers? aw geez...

GG Norm. GL moving on.
I just did the math, and my Run/Pass key calling on Defense was over 82% correct. I read you right, but your players are just that good this year.
Time to break 'em up?... lol

Great game bill. You had me sweating at the end. I thought that pick six to start it was a bad omen but we hung on.

Bill - any pointers (or threads) on setting up run/pass key? Besides setting it to 100% pass when I'm playing billyvan I'm kind of clueless on that. Just curious - thanks.

I don't want to give away too much, as game planning is hard enough against the good managers, but...
Don't just trust the run/pass ratio the defense page gives you. Think in terms of how a game goes, and how good the team is. Are they getting all those runs at the end of the game, when they're protecting a lead?
Look at a couple of their previous games in the play by play, especially games against you, or at least teams similar in strength to yours. Look for patterns like, "mostly passes on 1st down on their own side of the field", or things like that.
(I feel like I gave away too much.)

Just be like a real NFL coach and break down the game film!

Definitely a lot to digest, but I get your point. I guess I've been trying to D plan for what I think my team can actually stop, rather than just "they seem to run more/pass more" - I know it's a lot more complex than that.
With a team that lacks much talent it's even tougher, but it's been fun being in a league full of dedicated owners even if I get my **** kicked most weeks. Thanks again.
