FURTHER UPDATE
The league is now rolled back and will sim TONIGHT. Playoff teams please check your lineups and gameplans.
I have installed "fake1" as the temporary owner of Detroit. To ensure no more problems happen this year, and I believe we have a new owner on deck to take over Detroit for next season.
And to verify and protect the former Detroit owner's good name, I believe the cuts were unintentional and he was not trying to sabotage things. Looking at his team, he is just barely under the cap. If he released people prior to the end of the year he could easily get under the roster limit (he only has 46). But the cpu signs players to get back to 45, but that could put him over the cap, and to solve that the CPU releases your most expensive player, but because of the bonuses, the cap hit comes and doesn't solve your problem, so you are still over the cap and still short on roster, so the computer releases your next highest paid player to make room, but it still doesn't solve the issue as there are no cap savings from cutting guys with 5 year deals, and the cycle continues until you cut enough high priced guys and the CPU signs enough minimum salary guys to get you to 45 players. It was just an unfortunate cascade effect for an inattentive owner.
I'm leaving Detroit's existing bids on re-signing his coaches as is. All his cuts have been canceled and there will be no more Detroit transactions made by fake1.
