HOUND DOGS AVOID BEING TEA BAGGEDThe Dogs were in South Boston to take on the Tea Bag Party (formerly the Buffalo Bills, yes the same team that ended the Dogs season a few seasons ago) and things went pretty well. There were no tea bags accomplished and the Dogs got the win 20-6.
Orcutt ran the offense efficiently, not anything really extraordinary but a win is a win. He went 19/26 for 210 yards, 2 TD's and a pick. He was sacked only once. Hull gained the most yards for the Dogs 8/19 but Rutherford had the most carries 16/10 yards. Both of the RB's caught touchdown passes.
The Rookie Daniel Anderson had 2 big catches for big gains and they were at critical times in the game. It's nice to see the young man contribute to the win.
The D had 7 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and a pick. James Clift did a **** of a job out there he and the team sat down to renegotiate his contract. "We feel that James is a lot better player than his ratings suggest, we are looking to keep him here for a couple more years." said owner Sid Allison. "We like his hustle and his style of play."
The Dogs host Detroit next and are look to beat an NFC North team. The Bears and Pack have both beaten us this season.
Memphis is alone on top of the NFC South prior to tonights game. Let's keep up on top and finish strong.
