Have not seen an increase in QB injury, as Admiral pointed out, they are rare, But, expect a significant difference in the number of sacks and pressure on the QB, which affects the passing game. Sack leaders in MFN-1, 20+ sacks, avg over 1 per game. compare to existing player league stats .... 2 DEs had 8 sacks each last season. Overall, sacks are double. QB-wise, you may want to go with speed, scramble, pass release as much as any other attributes, lol.

Speed over scramble if you had to choose?

They're both 'bonus items' for a QB. Good to have but not essential. I also look at avoid fumble and ball carry.

QB runs are rare and not designed plays. Sacks can be avoided with smart play calling. Whilst there will be an adjustment period where they may go crazy, after a season or two they will settle as teams improve the blocking from OL/TE/FB/RB and even WR.

I found a pair of runs by Brooklyn QB Jonathan Mentzer in preseason week 2 vs. Memphis, both on called passing plays:

https://moguls.myfootballnow.com/watch/6691#1246411

He looks around both times before he starts running, and there's a script that he slides to avoid being hit - pretty crazy stuff.

Two more QB runs from LA/Monarchs preseason week 4:

https://moguls.myfootballnow.com/watch/6715#1250473 - now Ernest Williams can run too???

Could it be field of vision or high intelligence that lets the QB see there's a big hole in the defense and start running? Both Williams and my backup QB Jones have 90+ intelligence. Just a hypothesis.

Just look at the rushing stats of Invader's QBs for Pre-Season 2037:

Runs Yds AVG Long TD
Drew Lock (QB) 7 71 10.1 15 1
David Montoya (QB) 4 46 11.5 24 0

They had 66 sacks and no injury

Lets have a look at the QB attributes, relative to runs/scramble from the play links above.

Williams, LA Xtreme, 89 speed (about as high as it gets for QB), 61 accel, 90 intell, 51 scramble. Williams would also make a great RB!! 100 carry/break/avoid fumble! No wonder he runs real well in 4.6

Mentzer, Tigers, 56 speed, 77 intell, scramble 37, also 100 carry/break/avoid

So, when you compare the raw atts that you would think are most important for a QB run, there is a wide difference in speed between the two.

Now, for the Invaders Lock 56 speed, 90 intell, 99 scramble (wow!), and as the others 100 carry/break/avoid.

Montoya .... 46 speed and very low 13 accel, intell 98, 52 scramble.

comparing the pre-season 4.6 stats of the two QBs, they were about the same in avg, Montoya had the long of 24 yds, and Lock ran one for a TD with long of 15. The average number of runs per game were 2-3.

What's all this mean? 1. The QBs arent in danger 2. They will prob run 2-3 times a game 3. I would still put the passing ability first and foremost, but... it will be reduced overall in 4.6, if you get a QBrating of 75 or better, you're QB is doing good, 90+ is top 4 or 5 on the average.

QB's only tend to run on deep passing plays, usually with play action or rollout. They generally take off when the D is in a soft zone expecting a deep pass.

They will generally get very good yardage as the D have tracked the deep threats and left a lot of space to run into.

Conversely, these plays will give up sacks which negates the scrambling yards over the course of a season.
