DOGS COMEBACK TO BEAT ATLANTAStarting QB Vroman, even though he is a rookie, was sitting for the Atlanta game. Joe Hudson was under center leading the Memphis offense. He and the rest of the Memphis Hound Dogs overcame 6 turnovers and scored two touchdowns in the final 2 minutes to come back and steal a win over rival Atlanta in Atlanta, 23-19.
The Dogs had 457 total yards. Hudson went 30/53, for 397 yards. He had 1 TD, 2 INT. Tom Vroman went 3/3 30 yards and a TD. Vu led the WR's 5/136, Souders 9/115, Sylvester 10/82 and a TD.
On the defensive side of the ball Alvin Mercedes had a pick 6, Robert Asbury played great making it to the leagues top players for the week. John Hamilton led the team in tackles with 8.
The team finishes the season against Tampa Bay next week then it's time to grab the golf clubs, take a look at next seasons draft class, and see if we can improve this football team. Because once I was told from someone through the years is "if you don't improve every season, you'll get left behind".
