Super Bowl 14 was the first dud Super Bowl in awhile. After years of competitive games, this one was a snoozer. The Thrashers jumped out to an early lead, thanks to a 28 yard touchdown throw from John Spartan to Dutch Schaefer. Spartan would add two more TD passes as the Thrashers opened up a 27-0 lead and that was pretty much it. San Francisco coach Joseph Mann is facing heat for his controversial game plan decision, basically going away from the offense that led the Demons to the Super Bowl and trying to become a power running team, behind Marvin Lane, instead of splitting Lane out wide and letting him run wild, as they had been doing all season. But it was an easy win for Arkansas and the Super Bowl MVP, for the second time, is their QB who lead the way. John Spartan is the MVP of Super Bowl XIV!

The 2031 regular season is over and we once again were witnesses to more ridiculous performances.

First, on the defensive side of the ball, we witnessed something that we have not seen in 9 years, that is a 22 sack season, by Alex McLaughlin of the South Brisbane Raiders. He also added 23 hurries, making his season one of the most high impact defensive line seasons in almost a decade.

Speaking of making high impact, CB Allen Reynoso of Wilmington was just that. The defensive rookie of the year burst on the scene and made his presence felt, leading the league with 12 INTs and adding 36 knockdowns and five forced fumbles. He may already be the best cornerback in the game!

On offense, rushing numbers remained low, with only 5 1000 yard rushers this year, but those rushers also established themselves as dual threats. Joshua Ryan of South Brisbane led the league with 1108 yards on the ground, but added 1034 receiving and 15 TDs total. William Holmes of Los Angeles also had over 1900 total yards with 14 TDs.

Receiving, there was no other story other than last year's rookie sensation and MVP Jerry Jeudy of Kleinmachnow. And if you can believe it, he had an even better season this year, with even more yards and 35 TDs, both serving as the second highest single season totals ever. He is already the best WR in the league and soon we will start asking can he be better than Ronald Aguilar and William Marquis?

But as usual, the MVP comes down to the QBs. Former MVP George Wilson of Chicago was at it again, throwing for 50 TDs and a league leading 5884 yards. However, the crazy, ridiculous, insane offensive numbers being put up in Kleinmachnow could not be ignored. And at the center of all that was the team's quarterback, Joseph Kelley, leading the way with a league leading 56 TDs, so it wasn't all just Jerry Jeudy. His 126.05 QB rating highlighted his efficiency as well. Your 2031 regular season MVP is Joseph Kelley, QB Kleinmachnow!

Super Bowl 15 was close for most of the game, but the Los Angeles Xtreme controlled the game from the outset. It was a rematch of Super Bowl XI, but the cast of characters was a bit different, with LA under first year coach Justin Cowan. After jumping out to an early lead, the LA defense stopped the Arkansas offense with a huge interception by Brett Edmonson when they were deep in LA territory. Quarterback Ernest Williams was able to hit two long bombs in the game, touchdowns of 91 and 80 yards. Meanwhile, the LA defense continually shut down John Spartan and company, holding them to 3 points the whole game, with help from two sacks by William Floyd. Ernest Williams threw for 327 yards and 3 touchdowns. The rookie QB becomes the first rookie to ever win Super Bowl MVP.

The 2032 regular season is over and the Super Bowl is just around the corner, but before we crown a champion, we take a moment to recognize the stars of the 2032 season.

The trend of versatile running backs taking over the league continued. Joshua Ryan of South Brisbane led the way on the ground with 1363 rushing yards, but he also added 796 receiving yards. Similarly, William Holmes of Los Angeles rushed for 1141 yards, but added 961 receiving yards and 16 TDs, making him a fantasy football favorite.

But when we talk about fantasy favorites, the year in year out fantasy MVP did it again, as Jerry Jeudy has his "worst" season of his career, and still surpassed 2000 yards and 20 TDs. He outpaced the second best receiver in yardage, Terrence Stainbrook of Tasmania, by 700 yards and the second best receiver in TDs, Clarence Meli of Los Angeles, by 4.

However, are we seeing a defensive resurgence in the league? We had standout performances by Forest Oden of San Francisco who led the league with 16 sacks and Michael Cherrito of Arkansas, who had a ridiculous 47 hurries!

In the defensive backfield, there is a new generation of ball hawks dominating the scene. In his second year, Allen Reynoso was just as good as his first, leading the league in INTs once again, and probably being the catalyst for Wilmington's postseason run. But not to be outdone, rookie safety Jack Libby had the best rookie season of any DB since... Allen Reynoso! Libby tied for the league lead with 12 INTs and was an instant impact player. Their amazing performances overshadowed Claude McKenna of New York, who also had 12 INTs.

But when we talk MVPs, it, as usual, goes back to the QBs. This year passing stats were seemingly down. There was only one 5000 yard QB, though James Brill of Independence was close with 4958 yards and only one 40 pls TD QB, though Joseph Kelly of Kleinmachnow had 33. This year, one QB dominated all the stats, capturing the QB "triple crown" with the most yards, touchdowns, and best QB rating, while leading his team to a 15-1 record. Your regular season MVP is second year wonder, Ernest Williams, Los Angeles!

Super Bowl XVI featured a matchup of two first time competitors. The long suffering Wilmington fans relished their first Super Bowl appearance in what was only their third ever playoff appearance. However, showing up was probably the highlight of their day, as the Kleinmachnow OrangeCrush dominated the game from the get go. The OrangeCrush jumped out to a 16 point lead, with a rushing TD by Albert Murtha and a receiving TD by Robert McCutchen. The Argonaunts did eventually get their offense going with a touchdown pass from Robert Arthur to Matthew Silvester, but the OrangeCrush just kept pushing back, with another touchdown to Byron Ryan and an interception to ice the game by Jeffrey Carlson. Not even Allen Reynoso, who did have one INT, could stop the OrangeCrush machine. The OrangeCrush cruised to a 30-10 victory, led by QB, and Super Bowl MVP, Joseph Kelley, who threw for 257 yards and 2 TDs.

This is the first ever Super Bowl win for Kleinmachnow. Their fans should be celebrating like crazy right now in Germany. And maybe they are interested in this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=al6-1g6iXls

The 2033 regular season is done, so it's time to look back at it and honor the top players of the regular season.

Running the ball, Edmond Johnson of San Francisco won his third rushing title, racking up 1553 yards on the ground to go with 886 receiving yards. Speaking of double threat running backs, William Holmes of Los Angeles had over 2000 yards rushing and receiving, with over 100 receptions. Not to be outdone, Cincinnati's Benny Evans led all players with 124 catches.

Speaking of receivers, Jerry Jeudy was up to his old tricks, collecting another 1498 yards and 13 TDs, but we had a new superstar burst on the scene, rookie wide receiver Norman Kirkland of Chicago. He put up 1691 yards and 20 TDs, impressive numbers for a rookie that we haven't seen the likes of since Jerry Jeudy.

Looking at the defensive side of the ball, Kenneth Jacobsen of New York was a pass rush specialist extraordinaire! In limited action he racked up 25 sacks, by far the league high. Michael Cherrito of Arkansas led the league in hurries for the second straight season to go with his 13 sacks.

In terms of pass defense, it rare that defensive back is such an impact player, but Wilmington's Allen Reynoso may already be on his way to being the greatest cornerback in the history of the game. His 17 INTs garnered him MVP consideration! He has led the league in INTs every season he has played and in just three seasons, he is already #11 all time in interceptions.

But as usual, when it comes to MVPs, the discussion turns to the quarterbacks. Chicago's George Wilson had a bounceback season, throwing for a league leading 5111 yards to go with 39 TDs. Kenneth Rainey of San Francisco was efficient, being one of only 2 QBs with over a 100 QB rating, putting up a 103. And Branwdo Corp had a resurgent season led by the huge volume passing of Brian Roberts, who went over 5000 yards, while leading his team to a 14-2 record. But when looking at the overall numbers, any way you slice it, the 2033 MVP was clear. He led his team to a 15-1 record, best in the league, with the most points scored, #1 offense in terms of yardage, the only quarterback to throw for over 40 TDs with 42, the #1 in QB rating by far at 111.68, the first in completion percentage at over 70% and tops in yards per attempt by far at 8.77. Your 2033 league MVP is the same as your 2032 MVP. Congrats to Ernest Williams, Los Angeles, the first ever back to back league MVP!
