How good is Ernest Williams really? Sure the 42 TDs and 15 INTs look great and all but let's put it under a microscope. Against NFC West playoff teams, he had 3 TDs and 5 INTs. Extrapolating that out over 16 games, that is 12 TDs and 20 INTs. And if we want to dig a little deeper, against teams that he lost to, he would have thrown 8 TDs and 16 INTs over 16 games with an 8-8 record. Not even a playoff team.

Are those the stats of an MVP? Is Ernest Williams a product of an easy schedule?

Look, I'm not a hater okay. I just want the people to know who they're getting for an MVP. Ernest Williams, great player against some teams, not so much against real teams.

I just cry. I could have drafted Williams two picks earlier, but went for a center instead - doh!

I'll defend Williams for MVP. Wilson and Roberts did have more yardage, but Williams had more TDs and higher YPA by more than a yard. Wilson and Roberts had to throw more than 100 extra passes to top Williams by less than 300 yards. His completion percentage of 70.8 was 7.7 better than Wilson and 8.6 better than Roberts. Top it off with only being sacked twice all year - he's basically Drew Brees who can never be touched.

As for strength of schedule, LA did win their last 15 games in a row. Went 5-1 vs playoff teams, split with the Demons, swept Seattle, beat Chicago and OrangeCrush, plus beat the Duckies and Terror who were in contention until weeks 15 and 16 respectively.

I've been trying to draft a Williams clone in other leagues and haven't found one yet.

Super Bowl XVII was a hard fought battle that came down to the wire. While the expected offensive fireworks between the Dilzoders and Xtreme never materialized, the game was won by Brawndo Corp. by special teams. The highlight play was Lester Anderson's 106 yard kickoff return for touchdown, where he shed two tacklers along the way. With the Dildozer's offense sputtering at times, the touchdown was critical. He will enter Desmond Howard levels of fame for his return! Also, the Dildozers special teams forced two missed field goals by the Xtreme. Simply put, turn those two into makes and you have a different winner. Kicker Rex Miller is probably in hiding tonight. All facets of the game matter and the Dildozers dominated special teams on their way to victory. While quarterback Brian Roberts had a game to forget, completing less than half his passes, running back Allen Ramirez bailed him out. He rushed for over 100 yards and took a short pass form Roberts for a 41 yard touchdown in a game where touchdowns came at a premium. For those reasons, your Super Bowl MVP is Allen Ramirez!

He may not have won MVP but Rex Miller should have won in my opinion. 2 missed field goals and pancaked on the critical kickoff return. I’m hearing rumors that he was seen in Vegas the Friday before the Mogul Bowl. Are we sure Rex Miller didn’t change his name from Tim Donaghy? Can’t blame the guy honestly. $1.4m/year, seriously? He got a family feed.

With the end of the 2034 regular season, it is time to recognize the star players of the past year on offense and defense.

Starting on defense, we saw the return of the sack! Brian Barry of Roswell somehow perfected the CB blitz and had 31 sacks! DT Richard Ledford of Oakland let the "normal" pass rushers with 14.

In the secondary, Jason Skelly again made the Dildozer's trade look good, putting up a league leading 10 INTs tying him with Arkansas' Alonzo Harris. King Kong aint got **** on Harris.

We saw some amazing offensive numbers across the league. Edmond Johnson of San Francisco led the league in rushing, yet again, but George Schaffer of Seattle made a big name for himself with a 1000/1000 season, being a true dual threat star for the 15-1 Seahawks and garnering MVP consideration.

Speaking of MVP candidates, WR James Brandt of Branwdo Corp. put himself in elite company, alongside William Marquis, Jerry Jeudy and Marvin Lane, with absolutely insane numbers: 2897 yards, 31 TDs! Almost MVP worthy! "Gopher" Quinlan of Indepedence, second in yards, was far behind at 1577.

But as usual, our MVP discussion turns to the QBs and once again, we saw excellence across the league. Reigning MVP Ernest Williams of Los Angeles had a "down" season and still threw for over 5600 yards and 45 TDs and finished with a QB rating over 100. Chicago's George Wilson also tossed 45 TDs. But one quarterback towered over the rest of the league, leading the league in yards (6265), TDs (58) and QB rating (116.93) while locking up the best record in the conference at 14-2. He was already the Super Bowl MVP and he looks like he's ready to make another long post-season run. Your 2034 league MVP is QB Brian Roberts, Brawndo Corp Dildozers!

Wait a second. Looked through some of the game logs to figure out Brian Barry's secret to getting sacks. The 191 lb CB is playing LDE1 in the 46 Heavy 2 Deep Man Under defense.

For those that play other leagues, is that considered an exploit to play a DB on DL?

Sure sounds like an exploit if it's speed vs DL...

To me, a guy like Michael Cherrito who has busted his tail trying to tally 100 sacks career wise, gets upstaged by an exploit that gets 1/3 of that total in one season, it's BS. Plain and simple.

I think in the other league that I'm in, there's a rule for defense lineman to be >= 255 lbs.

Sorry, guys.
I have Brian Barry listed as CB in my roster and depth chart. Due to your hint I've checked the Overrides section, which I didn't change, and found Barry as DE in the 46 Heavy formation. I will change that for the play-offs and next season.
