In the 2051 regular season, it was once again dominated by the Tigers and Barbarians, who cruised to the top seeds in their conferences. Brooklyn was once again led by Charles Puleri (3767 yards, 28 TDs) and Battle Creek by George Oliver (4468 yards, 39 TDs). Paul Jones of Wilmington led the league with 1892 rushing yards and Wayne Conner of Chicago again dominated in receiving with 1652 receiving yards. DB Bill Cutting of Rapid Valley had 10 INTs. But this year, the league MVP goes to an all around contributor - one of the engines of one of the top teams. He had combined over 2300 yards and 14 TDs. He was the key cog of the Battle Creek offense. Your 2051 league MVP is William Bowden, RB, Battle Creek!

Super Bowl XXXV featured an epic rematch of Super Bowl XXXIV, with top teams Brooklyn and Battle Creek meeting again. The game was one for the ages. In one of the best Super Bowls ever, Battle Creek jumped out to an early lead, with two George Oliver TD passes. Battle Creek looked like it was on pace to avenge its previous loss, taking a 20-14 lead going into the 4th quarter. But with the game on the line Brooklyn had a comeback drive that will live on in history, capped by a one yard pass to Fred Bilentnikoff for his second TD of the game. But rather than play for OT, the Tigers sent out the offense for the two point conversion and the lead. Christopher Sowell caught the conversion to give Brooklyn the lead and the Tigers defense held on in the final 1:54 to clinch back to back titles for Brooklyn. The architect, the maestro of the epic comeback, is your back to back Super Bowl MVP, Charles Puleri, who tossed for 257 yards and 2 TDs, and one epic two point conversion.

In the 2052 regular season, the Terror and Barbarians had perfection. The Terror were led by rookie sensation RB David Jeppesen, who burst onto the scene with a league leading 1740 rushing yards. The Barbarians were again led by George Oliver, who had 42 TDs (but 24 INTs) and 5132 yards. Wayne Conner of Chicago had his third straight receiving yards title, this time with 1944 yards and 11 TDs. Rogelio Whitt of Montreal and Ralph Rodgers of Los Angeles had 20 sacks and Ollie Jones of San Francisco led the league with 8 INTS.

All that said, your 2052 MVP is Charles Puleri, Brooklyn, who had 39 TDs, over 4000s, and a 110.50 QB rating while leading Brooklyn to a 14-2 record.

Super Bowl XXXVI saw the culmination of the Brooklyn Tigers dynasty with Brooklyn winning their three-peat championship. The Tigers were down a point at halftime, but quickly took the lead after the half and never looked back, scoring 20 unanswered second half points, with little used players James T. Kirk and Richard Becerra getting the TD runs. The defense simply shut down Los Angeles. And leading that defense was Tony Eads, who had four tackles and an INT. Brooklyn also had a forced fumble and limited the Los Angeles offense to less than 200 yards. Tony Eads is your Super Bowl MVP, but the whole defense deserves the award.

The 2053 regular season is in the books and the world waits to see if Brooklyn will become the first four time champion. They again dominated the AFC, led by Charles Puleri and his 35 TDs vs. 6 INTs, for a QB rating of 110! But is a new force rising out west? The Los Angeles Xtreme went undefeated in the regular season, led by the rushing combo of Kevin Irizarry and Timothy Hamilton, who finished 1st and 3rd in rushing yards, combining for over 2500 rushing yards and 36 TDs! The top receiver was William Matz of Portland with 1370 yards and 14 TDs, in a down year for receivers - only 3 1000 yard receivers this season. On defense, Jorge Farkas of Battle Creek led the league with 23 sacks. But as usual, MVP is a quarterback award. Charles Santiago had a career year, leading Los Angeles to an undefeated record. Marcus West of Santa Cruz posted a 109 QB rating. But the top QB led a career resurgence and team resurgence. The one time number 1 overall pick and widely considered bust QB, he went to a team that had to leave the continent to rebrand, and both were better for it. Your 2053 league MVP, throwing for a lead leading 42 TDs, and also 4,399 yards, and leading the Silverbacks to their best season in franchise history, at 14-2, is Robert Jones!

In Super Bowl XXXVII, the game was played for the first time ever on the continent, at the home of the Kinshasa Silverbacks. The game started as a defensive struggle. The game had a lot of turnovers, 7 in total by both teams, including 3 INTs by each of the starting QBs. It was a hard fought first half, but then the Tigers broke it open once Charles Puleri hit a long TD bomb to Fred Biletnikoff. The long pass changed the tenor of the game. The Tigers defense continued to bottle up the Demons, while Biletnikoff would haul in another long pass to set up another score. The Tigers offense then ground out yards, while the Demons were rendered neutered. The Tigers outgained the Demons 526 yards to 128 yards, as the Tigers capped off the first four-peat in league history. The Super Bowl MVP was the man who busted the game open with his 62 yard TD catch and run and had 4 catches for 160 yards total, Fred Biletnikoff!

The Tigers make history in more ways than one, in Africa!

The 2054 regular season was a tale of familiar faces. But not everywhere. Jorge Farkas was dominant on the defensive line with 23 sacks for Battle Creek. He was complimented by teammate Howard William, who had 7 INTs and 25 knockdowns as the cores of the #2 defense in points against.

On offense, rookie sensation Joseph Dean burst on the scene as the league's leading rusher and instant MVP candidate for Kansas City. Edwin Howard of London had a breakout year to lead the league in receiving yards.

But after all these faces, the top teams were dominated by a familiar cast of characters. In the AFC, Brooklyn was dominant again, going 15-1, with who else but Charles Puleri (3136 yards, 36 TDs, 105 QB rating). Los Angeles had its second consecutive undefeated regular season. Again, it was the run game, with Kevin Irizarry and Timothy Hamilton combining for over 1000 yards of rushing each and over 10 TDs each.

Still, we are talking about new faces, and one player had his career year, winning the QB triple crown, while leading his team to a 14-2 record. With 4703 yards, 36 TDs, and a 109 QB rating, your 2054 regular season MVP is QB Jose Whittaker, Kansas City Wizards!

Super Bowl XXXVIII featured a rematch of Super Bowl XXXVI, pitting the undefeated Los Angeles Xtreme against the four time reigning champion Brooklyn Tigers in a true clash of the titans. The Xtreme jumped out to an early 14-0 lead, thanks to long a long pass to Ernest Saenz and an interception by Brian Frazier. But the Brooklyn defense led the charge back, with an interception of their own, setting up a Larry Camacho touchdown run. The Brooklyn defense stepped up with another INT before the half to prevent another score. Camacho then coughed up the ball in the second half to set up an easy LA touchdown. Down 21-10, the Tigers' championship mettle started to show. Charles Puleri let three straight scoring drives - the first a long bomb to Collin Wiley, then two long FGs by Bradley Tate, including one after another Los Angeles INT, to put the Tigers in the league, on the brink of an unprecedented 5th straight title.

Then, with 11 minutes to go in the game, LA embarked on a long 13 play drive. Aided by two drive extending pass interference penalties, the Xtreme slowly ran and passed down the field. All this set up a 1 yard TD run by fullback Mark Vance to give LA the lead. Brooklyn had two opportunities to score the game winning TD and turned it over on downs twice as the LA defense held. The defense was the true hero of the game, making those final two critical stops as well as the early INT. But we always will remember the final comeback drive, and the person leading that drive was the LA QB Charles Santiago. Santiago threw for 261 yards and 3 TDs (albeit with 3 INTs too) and of course led the game winning drive that capped off a perfect season. Your Super Bowl XVIII MVP is Charles Santiago!
