For only the second time in Football Moguls history did the Super Bowl go into overtime. In this instant classic of a game, 27 points were scored in the 4th quarter, as both teams traded blows. But in overtime, the reigning champs made quick work of the Shadow Dancers and became back to back champions - only the third time in league history that has happened. Can the Kayfabe join the three-peat club? The star of the game, leading the epic comeback and game winning drives, while racking up almost 300 yards passing and 3 TDs is your back to back Super Bowl MVP, Fred McNair! He is the first ever back to back Super Bowl MVP.

It is finally time to recap the 2047 regular season.

On defense, Kevin Harvey of Jackson Township was the year's leading pass rusher with 26 sacks. Michael Boss of Seattle led defensive backs with 11 INTs.

On offense, we had a strong season from Ned Reynolds of Terra Haute, who led all rushers with 1605 yards and 12 touchdowns. Frank Miller of Kansas City has the best receiving year, garnering some MVP consideration with his 1581 yards and 14 receiving touchdowns. His 14 TDs led the league!

But as usual, when it comes down to MVP, we are talking quarterbacks. The Shadow Dancers went undefeated this regular season, so you figure their quarterback, Roger Ahmed, would be in the thick of the conversation, but he also was second in the league with 25 INTs. Meanwhile, another QB pulled off the quarterback "triple crown" leading the league with 4969 yards, 44 TDs and 101 QB rating, on the way to a 12-4 record. Your 2047 regular season MVP is Michael Ramirez, QB, Kansas City Wizards.

Super Bowl XXXI featured a battle of first time Super Bowl participants as the London Monarchs faced the Battle Creek Barbarians for the league championship. After an early score by James McDermott on the ground for Battle Creek, the Monarchs took over for most of the game, scoring 17 unanswered points, with a well balanced attack. The Barbarians pulled to within one score after a fourth quarter field goal, but Terrence Phillips sealed the game by breaking off a game clinching 78 yard touchdown. Phillips finished with 147 rushing yards and was named Super Bowl MVP, meaning for the first time ever, the Super Bowl trophy is headed overseas to London! Fans are ecstatic as shown here:
